To perform a search:
Please choose the document category then enter your search criteria and click on “Search.” You will then see a Search Results window with a listing of all AFAOA documents with text that matches your criteria. You will also see a place to enter new search criteria, and an “Options” button which can enable more advanced searches.
Clicking on the title of a document will initiate download of that document, and the launch of the Acrobat Reader. When complete, the document will appear on your screen with the selected text highlighted*. Please use the Acrobat Reader buttons to navigate through the document for other instances where your selected text appears.
Use your back button to view another document on the Search Results page. Do not close the Acrobat Reader window until you are finished searching.
NOTE 1: Since many of our documents are quite large, there may be a long pause while the document is being displayed on your computer. The length of the delay will be dependent on your Internet connection speed and traffic conditions on the Internet.
NOTE 2: To read our text documents you will need the free Acrobat Reader which may be already installed on your computer. If this is not the case, you can download it for free by clicking on the Adobe icon below. Please make sure that "highlights" are enabled for the Reader (Edit/Preferences/Search/"Enable search highlights from external server").
